Thank you

Thank you everyone for such a brilliant week. So made it all so much fun and we are very proud of you all.

There will be a DVD and photos for purchase for £5. It will take me about 3 weeks to make it but you will be able to buy them before the end of term.

Have a good weekend all

Miss G and Mr T

Arrival

We have run into a bit of traffic in Cardiff and so will be back a bit later than expected at 1.45

Homeward bound

We have some very tired children here and expect to be back in school at about 1.30

Final night

We had a fantastic final night with a fun disco and the talent contest. Congratulations Jake, Liam C and Luke who won the whole contest with their magic show. It was amazing and worth the effort we put into it!

There were a few late nights so expect some very tired children today. We are all packed and ready to leave and expect to leave at 10.

Horse riding and trampolining

This morning we enjoyed horse riding and trampolining.

There were certainly a lot of somersaults attempted on the trampolines, although a lot of techniques leave a lot to be desired!

After that we went horse riding in the equestrian centre where they enjoyed riding and walking the beautiful horses.

We've just had dinner and now it's off to our woodland walk for a nature treasure hunt.

Bore da

We are all ready for our final full day and the weather here has brightened up so the children are all full of spirits. This morning we are trampolining and horse riding but before we left some of the boys decided to do their hair with some help from the girls ... beautiful

End of day 3

We rounded off the day with shelter building where groups competed to find to who could build the best shelter using only tarpaulin, ropes and pieces of work. Some of the results were...let's just say...not that sturdy and a gentle breeze could take them down.

The children were shattered once again so as it was raining we had a film night and watched Monster's University. They were all fast asleep within 30 minutes of going to bed and slept straight through to this morning.

Bliss!

Racing

This afternoon we have had a very busy time on go karts, toboggans and skiing. They were all so supportive of each other but we have quickly learnt from the skiing that some balance and coordination work is needed!!

Well rested

The children were all asleep early last night as they were shattered but are now ready for a big day today.

First thing this morning we are back in the climbing centre and then it's onto forest school activities.

Everyone is happy and certainly enjoying the almost non stop flow of food!

Day 2

Another fantastic afternoon. After cleaning up from our assault course we headed over to archery where Miss Gardener's team won the competition.

This evening we had the fun of sports games and dancing....yes dancing! The DVD will reveal the talents we have!!

It's time for bed now, nos da.

Assault course

Finally year 6 had an opportunity to take revenge on Mr T on the assault course, and boy did they take advantage! Everyone was such a good sport and there wasn't a dry outfit in the group!

We have showered and are now off to swimming

Tuesday morning

We've had a great morning climbing on the high ropes and abseiling. Even if some didn't finish the course we are proud of them all for having a go.

Well done to Emily who won the climbing competition and hanging onto the wall for the longest time

Day 2

Bore da. After a good night sleep we are ready for a busy day. We are on the high ropes this morning and then abseiling. All the children are doing well and were very well behaved last night. You won't believe how tidy their rooms are, there are certainly contenders for the tidiest room award!

Day 1 over already

We have had a lovely trip down the beach with the best ice cream in the world! We are on our walk home and we are certainly ready for bed.

We have 5 activities tomorrow so our sleep
is needed. Here"s some pictures of our trip to the beach. Until tomorrow, nos da.

Orienteering

Everyone is now settled in their rooms and we've had our first activity to get accustomed to the area. A treasure hunt has brought out the competitive side in lots of them but they all know not to beat Mr T, he won't cope with losing!

We are off to Team Building now and then our next meal already!!

Arrived

We've all arrive safe and have tucked into some delicious lunch. They are now having some fun on the playground before we have our welcome meeting

Halfway

We have just left the services and have about an hour left. The driver has put on Despicable Me 2 so all of the children are quiet. We are sure that the silence won't last once we get there!
Don't forget that you can follow us on Twitter twitter.com/sgllangrannog

Not long now

The day is finally here! Remember to be in school by 8:40. You can leave your bags in the yard but we will be registering the children in school first.

Please give all money, labelled, to Mr Timbrell so it can be put in the safe when we arrive.
