We have had a fantastic last day in Llangrannog. The children have been great and enjoyed the disco. They are all shattered and while they have loved the week are ready for their own beds.

Teambuilding

Just before lunch the children got to work on their team building skills.

The activities involved sorting themselves into age and shoe size order without talking. The silence was bliss!

They also played cups and saucers and tried to cross an imaginary river.

We've all built up the energy for a nice big lunch!

Thursday

Bore da pawb, good morning everyone. After an incredibly busy day we had a very early night, but not before we played bingo. Well done to Carly, Shannon, Corrie and Macrae who all won a prize.

This morning we are orienteering, putting their direction skills to the test. Yet again, all good for a laugh.

The weather is beautiful to we have decided to go back down the beach this afternoon.

Outdoors

This afternoon our outdoor skills have been put to the test. The low ropes were a good challenge and some were very relieved that they weren't that high.

Then we got to see more disastrous driving in the quad biking. The teachers looked on in disbelief at the driving skills, or lack thereof. Look out roads in a few years!!

We then tested the teamwork of year 6. After a slow start the children became incredibly inventive and designed decorations, house numbers and even a washing line for their shelter.

We're off now for a nature walk to learn all about the forest.

Horse riding and climbing

All ready to go, many of the children had their first experience of horse riding. Some are quite convinced that they went as fast as the Grand National horses. We're not quite so sure.

Many of the children faced their fears again and climbed. All of the children had a go and many even commented that their fear of heights had disappeared. Well done guys!

Morning everyone. Another brilliant night's sleep ready for horse riding, quad biking, climbing and orienteering. Until later in the day...

Happy Birthday Callum

After our final activity we had a surprise party for Callum. Lots of cake, balloons and music should make a good night. Happy birthday

Toboggan

The children's competitive spirit came out in the Go Karts this afternoon. Macrae managed to beat Mr Timbrell, although Sir insists it must have been fixed!

After the Go Karts (and just as we were dry) it was time for the toboggan. Flying down carpet has never been so much fun, especially while being sprayed by sprinklers!!

Mess is good!

Mess was definitely good in the assault course. Muddy puddles, ropes, poles, and buckets of water made for a great time!

Morning

Good morning everyone. After a good night's sleep we're ready to go. Everyone's enjoying a cooked breakfast before our activities that include the adventure course and go karting

Day 1

An incredibly busy first day. The first activity was swimming which was very welcome with the heat. It is absolutely boiling here and a cool down was excellent.

We then went straight onto trampolining where the children got to show off their somersault skills.

This evening we took a wonderful walk down the beach. The views were beautiful but the ice-cream was even better!!!

The children are shattered after an incredibly busy day. A good night's sleep ready for another busy day tomorrow is needed and well deserved. Until tomorrow.
