Thank you

Thank you from Mrs Jay and I to everyone for such an incredible week. You were such a credit to yourselves, your family and the school. I will be creating a DVD over the next few weeks that you will be able to buy for £5. Have a great weekend everyone and I will see you next week. Mr T

Almost there!

We've left the services and are on the final stretch home. We should arrive just after 1 o' clock

Unclaimed clothes

We have quite a lot of unclaimed clothes from the assault course so if the children are missing anything they can look through the bags on Monday.

We're making good time and about to stop at the services. Lots of sleepy faces

Home please!

Mrs Jay had to everyone up this morning. There are a lot of tired faces ready for home (including ours). We're hoping to leave at 10 and will arrive at approximately 1-1.30. I'll post a message and send a Schoop out when we know a closer time. Mr T

Disco

We had a brilliant evening. The dancing was top notch and we showed the other schools how to do it. A particular highlight was Cameron P's choreography of us all!

It's been an absolutely amazing week and we couldn't be prouder of them. Until the morning, nos da

Final activities

This afternoon Mrs Kaveney joined us for the final day, year 6 were incredibly excited to see her to fill her in on the events of the week.

The rain meant that the toboggan was faster than ever and it was some of the children's favourite activity of the week.

There were lots of races on the go karts and our final activity was revisiting the climbing centre for some vertical climbing.

Excitement is now building for the disco tonight where we're sure there will be lots of entertainment!

Skiing

The rain descended for the skiing but we all gave it a good go. Mr Timbrell went right from the top but disappointed the whole group when he didn't fall.

Everyone was jealous of Taylor who got to go in the sit ski right from the top!

Final day

We can't quite believe it's our final full day. We had s great sleep and Mrs Jay had to wake everyone up for breakfast this morning.

We've just arrived at skiing and although it's raining spirits are high

Dancing and circus

Tonight activities made us all laugh hysterically. First we played circus, the boys' scarf dances being a particular highlight.

Next came the actual dancing. There were a lot of excellent entries in the dance competition, but well done to Ellie-Marie, Elizabeth, Carly and Megan who worked with two girls from Baglan and came first. It was amazing to see every single one of them joining in with the dancing, they really made us proud and were good sports. We're all off to bed now with another busy day planned tomorrow. Nos da.

Penblwydd Hapus

It was Dylan's birthday today so we also had cake and lollies for his special day.

Shanay and Dylan have both had lovely birthdays and everyone has celebrated with then

Sun, sea, sand and arrows

We've had a lovely day. The weather was stunning and so all headed down to the beach. They had a ball playing in the water and sand and enjoyed a picnic provided by Llangrannog.

When we came back we then built fires and learnt how to shoot arrows. We had a competition and of course Mr Timbrell's team won! Everyone is now showering and getting ready for dinner.

They continue to make us proud and their behaviour is exemplary. Tonight is folk dancing which is always funny. Let's see what happens when they're paired up!

Bore da. Everyone's had a great night sleep. In fact we had to wake some of them up for breakfast! It's such a beautiful day we're heading down to the beach for the day and Llangrannog have given us a packed lunch for lunch. We'll post some photos when we get down there.

End of day 2

We finished off activities this afternoon with trampoling and quad biking. A few seemed convinced they were in a Grand Prix, rather than on a track at Llangrannog!

A great evening was then had by all. We started with swimming and then adventure games where they got to show off their skills. It was then time to celebrate Shanay's birthday so we all were treated to cake and some singing. Penblwydd Hapus Shanay. They're all getting ready for bed now and there are many tired faces ready for sleep. Until tomorrow. Nos Da

Mr Timbrell is not happy

Just because I soaked and threw a load of them into the muddy water Year 6 decided to do it back to me. Not that I'm a sore loser but I'm sure that that's not on!

Mr T

High ropes

We've had an excellent morning of team building and low ropes. We've just got onto the high ropes where our nerves are all being tested but everyone is being incredibly brave and having a go

Day 2

Bore da. We've had a good sleep, hearty fry up for breakfast and are now ready for a full day of activities. This morning we have low rope assault course, team building and high ropes.

Shelter building

Team building skills were testing in shelter building. The results were ... interesting! But in the end every group made a shelter. Well done to Taylor, Cameron J, Josh and Dylan won the prize for the best shelter

Horse riding

We had a lovely time horse riding. Everyone had a go and well done for those were slightly nervous

We're here

We've arrived safely. First activity - dinner. The girls have enjoyed and the boys are nowhere to be seen in the canteen after wolfing down food and heading to the football pitch.

Almost time

Bore da. It's almost time for us to. Make sure you're at school by 8.40 and don't forget sun tan lotion, a hat and sunglasses. It looks like it's going to be a hot week.
